Domestic cricket ka असली रोमांच tab dikhta hai jab ek underdog team bade surmaon ko unhi ke game mein pichhad deti hai. Kuch aisa hi nazara dekhne ko mila jab Jammu & Kashmir ne Rest of India ke khilaaf woh kar dikhaya jo namumkin lag raha tha. Ek waqt par team collapse ho rahi thi, par phir shuru hua Lone Nasir aur Paras Dogra ka woh blockbuster show jisne ROI ke bowlers ka paseena chhuda diya.
The Guru Story
Kahani shuru hoti hai us waqt se jab Jammu & Kashmir ka middle order taash ke patton ki tarah bikhar gaya tha. Post-lunch session mein score 138 for 4 se seedha 166 for 8 ho gaya. Aisa laga ki Rest of India ki team jaldi hi innings wrap up kar degi kyunki J&K abhi bhi 71 runs peeche thi. Lekin cricket is a game of glorious uncertainties, aur yahan entry hui Lone Nasir ki.
Nasir ne aate hi apne इरादे saaf kar diye. Jab lead milne mein sirf 7 runs baaki the, tab Dogra out ho gaye, lekin Nasir ne rukhne ka naam nahi liya.
Nasir ne Mukesh Kumar ko target kiya aur ek hi over mein 4, 6, aur 6 jad kar apni 48-ball fifty poori ki. J&K ke dugout mein jashn ka mahaul tha, Coach Ajay Sharma khushi se uchhal pade kyunki unki team ne Irani Cup mein first-innings lead haasil kar li thi. Rest of India ke fast bowlers jo short-ball se daraane ki koshish kar rahe the, unhe Nasir ne karara jawab diya.
Analysis & Numbers
- Rest of India first innings total: 237 all out.
- Jammu & Kashmir first innings total: 278 all out (Lead of 41 runs).
- Paras Dogra played a captain's knock of 75 runs, anchoring the innings.
- Lone Nasir scored a blistering 64 off just 52 balls, including 5 fours and 4 sixes.
- Abdul Samad contributed a crucial 57 to set the foundation.
- Rest of India in second innings: 24 for 1, still trailing by 17 runs.
The Guru Gyan Verdict:
Yeh performance batati hai ki J&K cricket ab sirf participation ke liye nahi, jeetne ke liye khel rahi hai. ROI ke paas Akash Deep aur Mukesh Kumar jaise international quality bowlers hone ke bawajood, Nasir ki fearless batting ne poora game badal diya. Agar ROI ko wapsi karni hai, toh unhe apni short-ball strategy se aage sochna hoga kyunki J&K ke ladke ab darrne waale nahi hain. Domestic cricket ki asli beauty yahi hai: Level Playing Field.
