Abu Dhabi ki tapti dhoop mein Bangladesh ne wo kar dikhaya hai jise dekh kar bade-bade khaoos khane lag jayein. Fourth morning ka khel khatam hone tak Bangladesh ne apni pakad itni mazboot kar li hai ki Afghanistan ki team ab sirf surrender karne ki halat mein dikh rahi hai. Ek wicketless session aur 443 runs ki mountain jaisi lead: ye batting nahi, dominance hai boss.
The Guru Story
Jab fourth day ka khel shuru hua, tab umeed thi ki Afghanistan ke bowlers kuch kamaal karenge. Chances create bhi hue, lekin fielding ka level dekh kar aisa laga jaise Afghanistan ke players ne catch chhodne ki special training Pakistan Cricket Team se li ho. Litton Das jab 14 runs par the, tab unka edge slip fielder Shahidullah ke haathon se nikal gaya. Phir jab wo 26 par pahunche, tab Qais Ahmad ne apni hi bowling par unka catch tapka diya. Cricket ka purana usool hai: catch chhodo, match chhodo.
Litton Das ne in maukon ka pura fayda uthaya aur 81 runs ki unbeaten innings khel kar Afghanistan ki bowling line-up ko taash ke patton ki tarah bikhair diya. Unka saath de rahe Mehidy Hasan Miraz bhi 38 runs par nabaad hain. Dono ne milkar 114 runs ki partnership ki hai wo bhi sirf 26 overs mein. Bangladesh ki strategy saaf hai: runs itne bana lo ki samne wali team batting karne se pehle hi haar maan le.
Isse pehle Hasan Mahmud ne teesre din Five-wicket haul aur ek hat-trick lekar Afghanistan ki batting ki reedh ki haddi tod di thi. Ebadot Hossain ne bhi 4 wickets lekar unka pura saath nibhaya. Halanki Rahmat Shah ne ek ladaku century zaroor lagayi, lekin Bangladesh ke top order ne, khaas kar Mushfiqur Rahim aur Najmul Hossain Shanto ne 159 runs ki partnership kar ke match ko ek tarfa bana diya.
Analysis & Numbers
- Lead position: Bangladesh currently lead by 443 runs, which is almost impossible to chase in the final innings.
- Aggressive Batting: Litton Das scored 81 off just 96 balls, hitting 11 boundaries with a strike rate of nearly 85.
- The Partnership: An unbroken 114-run stand between Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz has demoralized the Afghan camp.
- Fielding Woes: Afghanistan dropped multiple catches of both Litton and Mehidy in the first session.
- Day 3 Heroics: Hasan Mahmud took 5 wickets including a hat-trick to bowl out Afghanistan for 240.
The Guru Gyan Verdict:
Bangladesh ne is Test match mein proper Masterclass di hai. Afghanistan ki team spin ke bharose aayi thi, par Bangladesh ne unhe pace aur aggressive batting se backfoot par dhel diya. Afghanistan ko apni fielding par kaam karna hoga, warna aisa lagne lagega ki ye fielding nahi, koi mazak chal raha hai. Pakistan ke padosi hone ka itna asar fielding par nahi hona chahiye! Bangladesh is looking for a massive win, and it seems like a declaration is just around the corner.
