Match Context

Mukesh Kumar Ne Khud Maanga Ek Aur Over

Irani Cup 2026 ke Day 4 par Jammu and Kashmir ek stage par 89/3 tak pahunch chuki thi aur lunch tak unki position comparatively stable nazar aa rahi thi. Rest of India ko breakthrough ki zarurat thi, aur isi phase mein Mukesh Kumar ne match ka momentum badalne wala decision liya.

Drinks break ke baad Mukesh Kumar ko lag raha tha ki hawa ki movement unke favour mein kaam kar sakti hai. Story ke mutabik unhone stand-in captain Sarfaraz Khan se virtually ball lekar ek aur over maanga. Ye sirf confidence ka signal nahi tha, kyunki Mukesh ne isi additional opportunity ko turant wickets mein convert kar diya.

Ek Over, Do Wickets Aur Match Ka Momentum Shift

Mukesh ne sabse pehle Shubham Pundir ko LBW dismiss kiya. Is breakthrough ke baad pressure aur badh gaya, lekin over ka biggest moment abhi baaki tha.

J&K skipper Paras Dogra crease par naye aaye the. Previous innings mein Dogra ne 75 runs banaye the, isliye unka wicket Rest of India ke liye particularly important tha. Mukesh ne full length par off-stump ke aas-paas ball pitch ki. Delivery ne pehle thoda andar angle banaya aur phir hawa mein sharply bahar move kiya.

Dogra movement ko read nahi kar paaye. Ball unke outside edge ko beat karte hue off-stump se takra gayi. Mukesh ki ye delivery match ke most memorable bowling moments mein se ek ban gayi aur Rest of India players ke liye major breakthrough lekar aayi.

89/3 Se 111 All Out: J&K Ka Collapse

Jammu and Kashmir lunch par 89/3 thi, lekin Mukesh Kumar ke spell ke baad innings rapidly unravel hone lagi. Team eventually 111 runs par all out ho gayi, jisne Rest of India ko match close karne ka clear opening diya.

Mukesh do wickets wale over ke baad bhi kuch overs tak attack mein rahe. Unke next breakthroughs later spell mein aaye. Unhone Kanhaiya Wadhawan ko wicketkeeper ke through catch karaya aur phir match ke final over mein teen wickets lekar J&K ki innings finish kar di.

Mukesh Kumar Ka 11-Wicket Match

Fourth innings mein Mukesh Kumar ne six-wicket haul complete kiya. Isse pehle J&K ki first innings mein bhi unhone five wickets liye the. Dono innings ko mila kar unka match haul 11 wickets ka raha.

Ye contribution Rest of India ki 167-run victory mein central tha. Story ke mutabik ROI ne teen seasons ke baad coveted Irani Cup trophy lift ki, aur Mukesh ka bowling performance us success ke biggest factors mein se ek raha.

• J&K first innings: Mukesh Kumar ke 5 wickets.
• J&K fourth innings: Mukesh Kumar ke 6 wickets.
• Match total: Mukesh Kumar ke 11 wickets.
• Rest of India ki winning margin: 167 runs.

Smaran Ravichandran Ne Batting Se Match Banaya

Mukesh Kumar ke bowling numbers extraordinary the, lekin match mein Smaran Ravichandran ka batting contribution bhi equally important context create karta hai. Karnataka ke left-hander ne Rest of India ki innings ko dono baar revive kiya.

First innings mein Smaran ne 68 runs banaye aur team ko 237 tak pahunchane mein important role play kiya. Next innings mein unhone century score ki, jiski wajah se Rest of India J&K ke saamne 279 runs ka target rakh saki.

Ye batting platform hi tha jise baad mein Mukesh Kumar aur bowling unit ne defend kiya. Isliye match ka result batting recovery aur decisive pace bowling ke combination se bana.

Kyun Yaad Rahega Mukesh Ka Ye Spell

Mukesh Kumar ka performance sirf 11 wickets ke final tally ki wajah se special nahi tha. Match ka turning point unka ek aur over maangna aur usi confidence ko immediate execution mein convert karna raha.

Pressure phase mein Shubham Pundir aur Paras Dogra jaise crucial wickets ne J&K ke chase ko destabilize kiya. Dogra ko dismiss karne wali sharply moving ball ne Mukesh ke control aur situational awareness ko highlight kiya, jabki later wickets ne unke spell ko complete dominance mein badal diya.

Rest of India ke liye ye spell trophy-winning performance ka major component bana. J&K ke collapse ke beech Mukesh ka extra over maangna match ki sabse compelling cricketing stories mein se ek bankar saamne aaya.
