World Champions are back in business: Aath mahine ka gap aur format naya, lekin India ka dabdaba wahi purana hai. Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara mein jab India vs Zimbabwe ka pehla ODI shuru hua, toh laga nahi ki ye koi muqabla hai. It looked like a training session where the world champions decided to show the tourists why they rule the cricketing world. November 2025 ki World Cup jeet ke baad ye sirf doosri series hai, par India ne dikha diya ki unhe rustiness touch bhi nahi kar sakti.
The Guru Story: Dominance Unfiltered
Smriti Mandhana ke out hone ke baad, jab Shafali Verma number 3 par aayi, toh bowling attack ka post-mortem shuru hua. Shafali ne sirf 33 balls mein 64 runs banaye, jisme Olinder Chare ke ek hi over mein teen chhakkon ne match ka rukh poori tarah badal diya. Pratika Rawal ne apna teesra ODI century 96 balls mein poora kiya aur India ne ye target sirf 27.1 overs mein hasil kar liya.
Analysis & Numbers
- Pratika Rawal scored her 3rd ODI century with a strike rate of 104.17.
- Shafali Verma smashed a half-century in just 29 balls, striking at nearly 200.
- N Shree Charani registered brilliant figures of 4 for 23, making the ball talk on a Vadodara surface.
- India finished the chase with 137 balls remaining, a massive win by 9 wickets.
The Guru Gyan Verdict:
Ye match koi muqabla nahi balki ek statement tha. Zimbabwe ko yahan se seekhna hoga ki World Champions ke khilaaf unprepared aane ka nateeja kya hota hai. India is currently operating on a different level altogether. Shafali Verma at Number 3 is a tactical Gamechanger that can destroy any bowling unit in the world. Dominance like this is what defines the Blue Brigade.
