Cricket is a game of uncertainties, lekin jab aap haari hui baazi ko khud apne hathon se opponent ki jholi mein daal dein, toh Captain ka khoon khaulna lazmi hai. Sharjah mein jo hua woh Sikandar Raza ke liye kisi nightmare se kam nahi tha. Ek taraf unka bat aag ugal raha tha, aur doosri taraf unki team ki fielding aur bowling mazaak ban chuki thi. 5 runs par 4 wicket giraane ke baad match haar jaana? This is not just a loss: this is a crime in professional cricket.
The Guru Story
Sharjah ke maidan par Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan ka T20 match chal raha tha. Zimbabwe ke bowlers ne aisi shuruaat di jo kisi sapne jaisi thi. Afghanistan ka score tha 5 runs par 4 wicket. Aisa lag raha tha ki game 15 over mein khatam ho jayega. Lekin tabhi entry hui Azmatullah Omarzai ki. Unhone 116 runs ki aisi tabahi machayi ki Zimbabwe ke players ground par statue ban kar dekhte reh gaye.
Jab batting ki baari aayi, toh Sikandar Raza ne dikhaya ki kyun unhe world-class player kaha jata hai. Unhone 56 balls mein 106 runs ki Masterclass innings kheli. Lekin dukh ki baat ye hai ki unhe dusre end se wo support nahi mila jiski zaroorat thi. Match ke baad Sikandar Raza ka gussa saaf dikh raha tha. Unhone kaha ki team ki complacency (laparwahi) ne unhe hurt kiya hai. Captain ne saaf kar diya hai ki dressing room mein ab "unfiltered" baatein hongi aur wo kisi ko bakhshne ke mood mein nahi hain.
Raza ne match ke baad kaha ki kuch boys ne shayad ye calculate kar liya tha ki Afghanistan 130-140 tak hi pahuchegi. Ye "take it for granted" wala attitude hi Zimbabwe ko le dooba. It is a classic example of how a Gamechanger moment can be wasted if the mental strength is missing.

The Guru Gyan Verdict:
Sikandar Raza is a lone warrior in a team that often lacks the killer instinct. 5 runs par 4 wicket lene ke baad match haarna is simply unacceptable. Aisa blunder toh aksar humein Pakistan ki team se expect hota hai, lekin aaj Zimbabwe ne unhe bhi piche chhod diya. Raza ki gussa hona jayaz hai kyunki jab aap apna 100 percent dete ho aur baaki team so rahi ho, toh dard hota hai. Afghanistan deserves credit for the fightback, but for Zimbabwe, it is a lesson in humility. Cricket mein jab tak aakhri ball na fenki jaye, tab tak dushman ko mara hua nahi samajhna chahiye.
