आधिकारिक वेबसाइट हैं, thegurugyan.com, और live.thegurugyan.com।

Brisbane. Friday, October thirtieth, twenty twenty-six. The opening chapter of Sydney Sixers' Women's Big Bash League campaign was supposed to be straightforward. Instead, it became a story that waited until the very last delivery to reveal its ending. Brisbane Heat batted first, and Charli Knott signalled intent immediately, striking boundaries from the first two balls before clearing the rope in the next over. Grace Harris departed early, but Georgia Redmayne joined Knott in a fluent partnership. At the halfway stage, Heat were seventy-nine for one. Both batters reached their fifties in the same over, and their stand eventually reached ninety-seven. Then came the turning point. Ashleigh Gardner returned and broke the partnership. Brisbane Heat struggled to sustain their momentum, adding only thirty-seven runs across the final five overs. Their innings closed at one hundred and fifty-four for five, with Redmayne scoring fifty-eight and Knott fifty-seven. Gardner finished with two wickets for twenty-five. Sydney Sixers began their pursuit of one hundred and fifty-five in attacking fashion. Sophia Dunkley helped drive the score to fifty-three without loss after six overs. Although Sianna Ginger provided a breakthrough, the Sixers retained control. Ellyse Perry then transformed a promising chase into what appeared to be an assured victory. She struck four boundaries against Lucy Hamilton in an eighteen-run thirteenth over. Perry reached fifty with a four, followed immediately by a six. The equation shrank to forty-one runs from thirty-six balls, with eight wickets remaining. And then, the game changed again. Brisbane Heat removed Gardner and Perry in successive overs, and wickets at the other end left Alice Capsey battling through rising pressure. The requirement became ten from eight deliveries, then five from the final six. Two dot balls and a run out delivered one last twist. Two runs were required from the last ball. Sarah Coyte faced it, found the gap between two fielders, and struck the boundary that ended the contest. Sydney Sixers finished on one hundred and fifty-seven for six, winning by four wickets. Perry's fifty-eight, Dunkley's thirty-seven, and Coyte's decisive four defined a dramatic opening victory. For Brisbane Heat, it was another painful finish, extending their Women's Big Bash League wait for a win beyond seven hundred days, according to the supplied match report.
