Indian Cricket ke corridors mein halchal tez hai kyunki selection table par naye chehre dikhne wale hain. Ajit Agarkar ka tenure khatam hone ke baad ek bada sawal tha ki West Zone se kuan aayega. Ab tasveer saaf ho chuki hai. BCCI ne game plan set kar diya hai aur India ki selection committee ko naya roop mil gaya hai. Yeh badlav sirf ek formality nahi balki Team India ke future roadmap ka ek bada hissa hai.
The Guru Story
Mumbai ke legend aur off-spin ke jaadugar Ramesh Powar ko officially India men's senior selection committee mein shamil kar liya gaya hai. BCCI ki Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC): jisme Ashok Malhotra aur Jatin Paranjape shamil hain: unhone Ramesh Powar ke naam par mohar lagayi hai. Dilchasp baat yeh hai ki is race mein domestic cricket ke bhishma pitamah Wasim Jaffer bhi shamil the, lekin Ramesh Powar ka coaching experience aur tactical mind unpar bhari pada.
Ajit Agarkar ka term 4 October ko khatam hua tha, jiske baad yeh vacancy create hui thi. Ab naya system yeh hai ki Pragyan Ojha committee ke naye chairman honge. Seniority rules ke mutabik, jis player ne sabse zyada Test matches khele hote hain, wahi chair sambhalta hai. Pragyan Ojha ke paas 24 Tests ka anubhav hai, jo unhe baki members se aage rakhta hai. Agar Wasim Jaffer select hote, toh 31 Tests ke saath wahi chairman bante, lekin filhal kismat aur CAC dono Ramesh Powar ke paksh mein rahe.
Ramesh Powar ka profile kaafi solid hai. Unhone na sirf India ke liye 2 Tests aur 31 ODIs khele hain, balki coaching mein unka track record bemisaal hai. India Women Team ke saath Asia Cup jeetna aur Commonwealth Games mein silver medal lana unki badi achievements rahi hain. Unhe game ki gehri samajh hai aur BCCI ke Centre of Excellence mein unka bowling coach ka tajurba naye talent ko pehchanne mein bohot kaam aayega.

The Guru Gyan Verdict:
BCCI ne ek baar phir dikha diya hai ki woh experience aur utility ko priority dete hain. Ramesh Powar ka induction ek Masterclass move hai kyunki unhe grassroot level se lekar international level tak ka coaching experience hai. Pragyan Ojha ka leadership sambhalna committee mein ek naya vision layega. Jab hamari selection committee itni balanced ho, toh harr tournament mein dominance tay hai. Doosri taraf, agar hum border ke paar dekhein toh PCB mein selectors itni jaldi badalte hain jitni jaldi unke batters duck par out hote hain. Wahan stability ek sapna hai, aur yahan India mein system ek Prophecy ki tarah kaam karta hai jo sirf success ki taraf le jaata hai. This is how a world-class board functions: unfiltered and professional.
